➋ Batch ash installation▼

This is a very common installation method of magnetic lamp, which needs to be reserved for slotting first, and the ash can be batched after the track is fixed, but if it is not handled well, it is easy to have screw points or ash dropping, which affects the appearance.

Because the track is embedded in the decoration base, the choice of the track can not be sloppy, must choose a big brand, high-strength, high-quality wire track, if there is a problem with the track in the future, that is when you break the thigh, embedded installation must choose a track with a support design to be stable enough, some cheap tracks are unsupported design, over time it is easy to loosen, ceiling hanging ash and other situations, as shown in the figure below:

The ceiling installation is often used in places without suspended ceilings, or the remedy solution for wanting to install magnetic lamps but not reserving slots, which is the same as the installation method of the exposed track strip, but this kind of raised track strip is really unacceptable. The advantage is that the height of the lamps can be adjusted freely to meet the needs of different scenes, but due to the need for force balance for hoisting, folding and track spotlights are inconvenient to install, mainly grille spotlights and flood lights.

The biggest advantage of magnetic lamp is high flexibility, which basically integrates flood light source, track spotlight, hanging spotlight, surface-mounted lamp and grille spotlight. There is no hidden light source at the moment, but magnetic lamps are not a panacea.

The main function of the magnetic lamp▼

Glare needs to be taken into account in the design of any luminaire, and when we talk about other luminaires, glare is an important criterion.

But what's interesting is that when the magnetic lamp is avoided, it is difficult to install the magnetic lamp without glare? This is something to think about. Although magnetic lamps are more flexible, they also need to consider functionality.

In order to play their "level", designers often regard magnetic lamps as design elements and decorative parts, and the structure of magnetic lamps perpendicular to the ceiling can be seen everywhere (as shown in the picture above). Although the magnetic lamp basically uses a safe voltage of DC24/48V, the risk of electric shock can be basically ruled out. But if you use flood light on the wall, won't it feel harsh?

Especially the flood light source, the light behind the enemy is naturally beautiful, but at home is not at any time to turn on the light, when the light is turned off, the acrylic of the flood light source forms a clear contrast with the wall, and the cheapness of the acrylic is immediately highlighted.

It should be noted that the flood light source of magnetic lamps is really not suitable for basic lighting.

In addition, magnetic lamps are also track lamps, but they are mostly embedded installations, and the exposed track grooves are really so beautiful.

The current magnetic lamp is still a profiteering product for merchants (2020). If the same light effect is achieved, the cost of magnetic lamps and lanterns is at least 3 times that of conventional downlights/spotlights, and the tracks of one meter are often in 3 digits, the lamps and lanterns are more expensive, and there are power accessories. It's just that magnetic lamps are more flexible than conventional lamps.

From the perspective of commercial lighting, magnetic lamps are a very good choice for places dominated by track lights and grille spotlights, but before preparing to install magnetic lights, we can ask ourselves, is it necessary to install so many track lights in my home? Or to achieve the same effect, is it really worth spending several times more for the price?
